Last week AFTA Thought were privileged to deliver a piece of work that we began at the start of the summer for the Preston MND Care & Research Centre Symposium.
The annual event brings together professionals involved in the care and support of people with Motor Neurone Disease, their families and their carers.
Our input to the Symposium highlighted our learning about the journeys that people take when they are affected by Motor Neurone Disease, and the messages they wanted health and social care to hear.
We were pleased to gain such a positive response from those who attended (the first time we’ve been scored with 10 out of 5 on an evaluation!!!) and as a team we were all profoundly moved by the work we presented.
