Safeguarding Children in Early Years
East Riding have taken an innovative approach to providing Safeguarding Children training for their Early Years workforce.
Providing training events for large numbers of staff working in the Early Years sector can be a challenge. Abstracting a large number of people from one workplace during the week can be impractical so East Riding invited us to deliver an event on a Saturday instead. Safeguarding Children has to be a priority in Early Years - a priority that was reflected in the level of engagement and commitment we saw in the delegates.
