Safeguarding Children and Adults in Social Housing

Safeguarding Children and Adults in Social Housing

In response to recent events AFTA Thought have begun to take enquiries from housing organisations who are keen to raise their awareness of safeguarding issues for children and adults. As a result we have developed a training model for this sector drawing on our long and extensive experience in both safeguarding issues and the housing sector.

Serious Case Reviews in Doncaster, Manchester, Sheffield, Lincolnshire and London have highlighted how housing organisations are often in the position to help ensure the safety and well being of children and vulnerable adults. Our training uses recent examples as the basis for powerful case studies that are sure to make participants think again. And to recognise that safeguarding is everybody's business.
