Mental Health Act Managers Hearings
How do you ensure that Hospital Managers are being consistent with each other and clear about their powers of discharge under the Mental Health Act?
In partnership with Hill Dickinsons Solicitors AFTA Thought delivered sessions for Hospital Managers at Cheshire and Wirral NHS Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, that explored the managers' roles and responsibilities around the power to discharge patients from a Section or a Supervised Treatment Order. By using our actors and training methodology we ensured that the sessions were memorable and impactful - as well as providing a unique opportunity for reflection and development around issues currently being experienced by the Trust.
