Managing Challenging Behaviour

Managing Challenging Behaviour

AFTA Thought have recognised an increase in the number of requests to provide our training packages around Managing Challenging Behaviour and Physical Intervention.

Following the Children Act in 1989, AFTA Thought helped to pioneer training packages that focused on putting children and young people's needs at the centre of professional practice, especially at times that their behaviour was its most challenging. Services working with some of the most vulnerable and challenging of children and young people have found our approach to training has been invaluable to individuals and to teams. We continue to work with local authorities, foster carers, private care homes and the secure estate, as well as with schools from establishments that educate those with universal needs to schools that educate those with complex needs.

Contact us if you'd like to receive more information about what our courses cover.
