Disability Hate Crime
AFTA Thought are developing a new training model to raise awareness of the impact of disability Hate Crime.
Having previously worked together with Criminal Justice agencies to deliver sessions that explore their support to victims of Hate Crimes within specific communities, AFTA Thought have now been asked to look at this area with Local Authorities. We will be working with the London Borough of Barnet and Mencap to raise awareness amongst health and social care staff of how their role can make a difference. The focus of the events will be on the impact of Hate Crime on people who may have a physical or learning disability.
