Dignity in Care - Sir Michael Parkinson

The importance of the Dignity in Care Agenda and the role that Dignity Champions play in embedding it in organisational culture was powerfully demonstrated In Leeds last week. The North West Joint Improvement Partnership and the Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Partnerships came together to organise an event for leaders of services to make pledges to advance this agenda in their workplaces. Dignity Ambassador Sir Michael Parkinson chaired a panel discussion and Afta Thought were on hand, of course, using our actors to stimulate the thoughts and the emotions of all those present. Instant evaluations provided from remote handsets showed that AFTA Thought beat ‘Parky’ in the ratings - although we’re well aware that if he’d have brought Emu with him we couldn’t have touched him!
